Members Dealing with the Downturn
The ITI is acutely aware that a number of members are currently seeking employment in these challenging economic circumstances. The Institute would like to remind members who are currently seeking work of the following support provided by our Institute:
 |
Free attendance at ITI professional development seminars and conferences so that job-seeking members can remain fully up to date with technical developments. Please note that the free attendance does not apply to residential/accommodation elements of ITI conferences. |
 |
ITI, the Institute of Bankers and LIA jointly launch the Graduate Diploma in Financial Planning. This programme is aimed at those who wish to develop their financial planning knowledge and skills to the highest international standards. If you are interested in adding an extra qualification to your skill-set, find out more about the programme here. |
 |
Members are also entitled to the reduced annual subscription rate of €105, and we will be offering flexible payment arrangements to members in the coming year. This will allow members to keep up-to-date via TaxFax, the Irish Tax Review and all other benefits of membership as per the members' area of www.taxinstitute.ie. |

We are also introducing, on a pilot basis, a mentoring service for such members. If any member is interested in availing of this service or becoming a mentor, please let us know.
We would appeal to any member firm that has any form of opportunity to recruit one of our members, including on a part-time or short-term contract basis, to let us know at the Institute for our placement page on our website.
Equally, we urge all those members who are currently seeking work to please let us know so that we are aware of their position. It is extremely important that members in this position ensure that the Institute has their up-to-date e-mail address and that they maintain their technical knowledge through TaxFax, the Irish Tax Review and our seminar programme.
