Revenue eBrief No. 29/2010 - Travel Agent's Margin Scheme

In this eBrief, Revenue advise that the VAT Information Leaflet Travel Agent's Margin Scheme has been updated following amendments to the VAT Act in Finance Act 2010.
The paragraph on 'Business traveller' has been revised in relation to deductibility for 'qualifying accommodation' in connection with attendance at a business conference where the travel agent's margin scheme is used and the examples have been updated to take account of the reduction in the standard rate.
