Finance Bill 2010 - Report Stage

The Finance Bill Report Stage discussions commenced at approximately 5.45pm (9 March).   In discussing proposed amendment 3 - Joan Burton's proposal for a cost benefit analysis of tax expenditures, Minister for Finance, Brian Cowen T.D, stated that he intended conducting a sectoral review of tax expenditures and that he hoped to have this review completed by June 2010 for consideration in Budget 2011.
