ITI School of Taxation
The ITI School of Taxation is the recognised leader in professional tax education in Ireland. The Irish Taxation Institute has been the leading provider of professional tax qualifications through our AITI programme for over 30 years.
Within the ITI School of Taxation we offer two tax courses,
Associate of the Irish Taxation Institute (AITI) and
Technician Member of the Irish Taxation Institute (TMITI).
The ITI School of Taxation has seen considerable growth in student numbers with a 40% increase over the past three years. Over 33% of our membership qualified in the past five years, adding a youthful dynamic to a long established and respected Institute. The ITI continue to support our members long after they have completed their studies with us and we promote lifelong learning and support through our networks to help them be actively successful amongst their peers in the tax community.
All of our lecturers are experienced Registered Tax Consultants, are skilled educators and are the experts in their particular specialty. We offer an education experience which has been designed specifically to ensure we deliver a route to a challenging career which offers mobility and flexibility within any market.
The AITI is the leading taxation qualification offered within Ireland and is recognised by the EU as the pre-eminent qualification for tax consultants in Ireland. It is a stand-alone award and suitable for anyone looking for a dynamic and exciting career. The designated letters AITI can be used by all successful graduates of our three-year programme - in essence, without the AITI qualification you cannot be a Registered Tax Consultant. The Irish Taxation Institute works closely with member firms to ensure that the AITI programme is updated on a regular basis to suit industry requirements and provides you with all the expertise and proficiency required for a successful career advising the leaders of business and industry.
The TMITI is a one-year course designed to give individuals the skills and tax technical knowledge to work in the tax compliance arena. It is ideal for those who are self-employed or those working in finance departments who are looking for a broad refresher course on taxation.
